Spray-dried tomato — brighter red, cleaner flavour and faster rehydration than air-dried equivalents.
Tomato juice is concentrated and spray-dried with a starch carrier into a free-flowing powder. The result is brighter red and disperses faster in water than conventionally dried tomato.
Applications: instant soup and gravy bases, sachet ketchup, ready-to-cook meal premixes.
